Online Book-shopping 101: Where To Buy Cheap Books

Buying books is probably one of the most thrilling sensations for any die hard bibliophiles out there, and as much as we love stocking up on new releases and anticipated reads, we all can't help but cringe a little at the sound of our metaphorically crying wallet. Let's face it: books are pricey!

Of course, that doesn't stop us from buying the books we want--no, need in order to function properly.

Over the years, I've slowly moved away from buying books at full price, and instead have turned to a variety of websites where I can find incredible deals on incredible reads. Using these websites, I have been able to land some wonderful bargains on all sorts of books, both hardcover and paperback, and today I'd like to share these dimes with you all.

(Disclaimer: Websites are listed below in no particular order)

1. Book Depository (www.bookdepository.com)

If you have not yet heard of the legendary Book Depository by now, be prepared to fall in love. Book depository sells books (in a variety of editions, too) at a discounted price (usually around 15%-30% off) AND with free world wide shipping!

2. Book Outlet (bookoutlet.com)

Although they only hold a limited inventory of books, you're guaranteed to find some great steals on BookOutlet--some books are as low as $2.00! The majority of books sold on here are used, but don't worry, they're in great condition. Another plus--sometimes you stumble across some hidden gems like signed books!

3. Thriftbooks (www.thriftbooks.com)

The name says it all--Thrift Books is quite simply an online thrift shop for books. If you're looking for absolute dirt cheap prices on used books, Thriftbooks is the place to go. Of all the bargain websites I use, I've found my cheapest bargains on this one. If you're not too worried about scuffed edges and imperfect covers, then definitely check this website out.

4. Amazon (www.amazon.com)

Last but not least, of course, is the famous Amazon.com!
Amazon is usually my go-to website for online book shopping, because books are cheap, new, and shipping is fast! On Amazon, you also receive FREE standard shipping on any book orders over $25. If you have Amazon Prime, you also get free two day shipping (for all you restless book lovers like me who want to have their new books in their hands ASAP).

(Disclaimer #2: This post is not sponsored by any of the websites whatsoever. This is all just my honest opinion on which websites I use most for book shopping!)

I hope y'all found some helpful websites! Happy book shopping! <3
